If any of you suffers, we all suffer; if any of you rejoices, we all rejoice and bear one another’s burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ.

BeFrienders are lay men and women who offer a “sounding board” to others during those times in all of our lives when we could use a caring christian person to simply listen, reflect, and be present. It is not ministry of advice and solution – it is simply offering the love that Christ instructed us to share in a non-judgmental way with a true spirit of acceptance for wherever the Friend is at that point in their life. This may be during an illness or after losing a loved one, being newly married or having a first child, having concerns in a marriage or with a family member, losing a job, contacting new members or congregational visitors – and the list goes on.
In Holy Baptism our gracious heavenly Father frees us fromm sin and death by joining us to the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. By the waters of baptism, we are reborn children of God. To schedule a baptism, please contact the church office to speak to Pastor Vinge.
